Yesterday, I got a nice new gimmick from Kahles – a 8×42 bino with an integrated range finder!
I already knew, that for international rifle matches a RF might come in very handy as far away targets are often plcaed “anywhere” on the range. Not like in Germany where – due to range limits – the targets are usually nicely placed on 100m, 200m or 300m. The latest match in France confirmed that. Continue reading “Kahles Helia 8×42 RF”
Vom 5.
Continue reading “French Nationals IPSC Rifle 2018 — CDF2018”
Ever thought of improving your practice with the rifle? I’ve tried something different on my last practice sessions for the upcoming German Nationals and the following French Nats and the Europeans – I thought “why not practicing with the 9mm AR15 PCC in practice?” Continue reading “How to intensify Rifle practice?”
How fast the time flies! Already April again and no update of my website yet… I’m so sorry! But I’ve been pretty busy with testing new parts for the upcoming season! After the Worldshoot last year, I’ve took a much needed brake. I didn’t touch my Revolvers up to this years January. But now, I’m back in the game! After the second match day, I was very curious to see, how the results would be. Not knowing, how the other top guys from the other revolver squad would have finished (The German Revolver Team hadn’t finished in the top three at the last World Shoot in Florida 2014 – because of that, we were scheduled in Revo Team Squad “two” this time. On squad one have been the Teams from USA, Austria and Brazil). I guess, you can understand how excited I was, when I saw, that I had taken the lead after day two! Again, that night was not the best for a deep and relaxing sleep… Of course did I tell myself to calm down and relax and not to think too much about the results. I wanted to just shoot the same style like the days before. Continue reading “IPSC WSXVIII Chateâuroux / France — Part II — Matchday 3 and 4”
It´s been a while since I posted my last update here – I´m sorry, but the last months have just been incredibly packed. Where shall I start… after the early season matches like Munich Open and Steelchallenge, with the Infinity Open (again a fantastic match with great stages and a good score for me), the German Nationals Revolver (this time, a DESASTER match for me, but this is another Story…) and the French Nationals, the season came closer to the really big one. The Worldshoot XVIII 2017 Chateâuroux, France was right ahead. As everybody, I was curious how the new range in France will look like and how the organization will be – everybody had still the many problems in Hungary at the EHC in mind. As a preparation, I had signed up for the French Nationals held on the same range, just 4 weeks in advance – a very good idea as it turned out after my disaster match at the German Nationals. In between, I´ve finally got the last version of the new DAR IPSC rifle compensator! I´ve tested the V2.0 but there was too much downforce so another version had to be made. After the new modifications, the final version is running perfect! Very neutral, nice to shoot!
