Stage 1 „Sandtaket“ of the Norwegian IPSC Rifle Na

Stage 1 „Sandtaket“ of the Norwegian IPSC Rifle Nationals, the „Rifle Rampage“: 32 round long course, window start with two minitargets at 45m close to 90°, then full send through 50m of deep sand engaging 12 more IPSC targets on the move with two more minis at 50m again at the end. Running and gunning at its finest! Not something we get to train for back home in Germany! 😮‍💨 Norwegians were ripping full-speed doubles and triples through it 🔥 I had to dial back the pace a bit to keep my hits clean. Also felt great not having to watch that 10-round mag cap for once like at home - throwing 3 or 4 rounds at a target just because I could, without worrying about messing up the next reload! Brass in the air the whole way through! 🤩

Eirik just sent me his drone footage of this stage, and I took the chance cutting it together with Henrik’s footage from behind - two angles of the same chaos 😆 if you want to see a perfect execution of this stage, check out Eiriks run… I’m pretty happy with my run anyway!

Stage 4 of the 2026 Norwegian Rifle Rampage National Match - 28 round long course with targets out to somewhere around 100m, tight safety angles and fast swingers. Could have been a decent run when there wouldn’t have been those two hits on the left swinger just a hair out of the scoring border 🫠😆

Stage 7 of the 2026 Norwegian IPSC rifle nationals - speedy time! Went with the safe way of activating and shooting the up-and-down target first before engaging the statics. There were way faster options of activating and shooting statics first but I felt like gaining more points with the safe way. Ended up third on that one with 80% of Eirik (who activated and went for the statics first). Still pretty satisfied with my run with only one Charly.

Sometimes things don’t work as planned 💩 Stage 12 of the Norwegian IPSC rifle nationals was one of these stages….
At home, the gas setting of my rifle worked like a charm - but on the first three stages in Norway, the setting turned out to be too low resulting in three ftf’s. Maybe the air pressure, maybe the temperature - who knows 🤷🏼‍♂️.
On that stage it drew away my focus and I didn’t notice, that I must have missed the top/most far out plate. Saw a clean sight picture when taking the shot and thought I heard the hit. So I moved on and didn’t check back. But it didn’t go down 🫠 When I realized it, my first reaction was to go down and shoot again, but it would have taken way too long to get it, resulting in an even lower hit factor. So I let it. 💀
Usually, I don’t like to change settings during a match, but this time it was needed. Opened up the gas one click afterwards and finished the match without any more issues! 🤙🏻
Anyway - have you ever shot a match in such a scenery? Who cares about a screwed stage when being able to enjoy such a setup? That was definitely not my last match in Norway! Thanks to all the organizers and helpers who build and worked at this match!

Targets out on ~200m and 90m and plates anywhere in between. I’m enjoying the Norwegian rifle nationals very much! Great people, good company and fantastic stages! A great rifle match! (Only the weather has some room to improve…😆)

Just by swapping some OEM (!) @tanfoglio_official trigger parts 🔥

While waiting for my new Tanfoglio Domina to arrive, my old Tanfoglio Gold Custom got a small upgrade in between.

A great way to already train with a Domina-like trigger and handling!
Big thanks to @dominicmeier69 for sharing the secret sauce and which parts to use and to Tanfoglio for the super fast delivery!
For those interested in which Unica and Extreme parts have been used - shoot me a DM and I’ll send you the list! 😉

…and please don’t mind the color combo 🫣 the red @shield_sights RMSx was just the one I had on hand - new black OMSx will be the go-to for the Domina! 💥
